This particular survey includes responses from over 6,000 respondents, with over 5,300 being EV drivers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The survey was fielded from January 2025 through March 2025. The intent of the survey was to get a full picture of the EV experience in the United States, in particular:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Purchasing considerations when buying an EV<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The likelihood of EV drivers\u2019 next vehicle being an EV<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The biggest concerns respondents had when buying or leasing an EV, and their biggest concerns now<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The charging experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The purchasing or leasing journey for an EV<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EV driver profiles<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"btn\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/pluginamerica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/2025-EV-Driver-Annual-Survey-Report-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download the full report<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><b>Highlights<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>EV loyalty is up.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> EV drivers consistently love their cars, and this year, we saw more younger EV drivers join the fan club. Nearly 92% of EV driver respondents said it is likely or very likely their next vehicle will be an EV, an increase from the 89% of EV driver respondents who said the same last year.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>To know one is to love one.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> EV drivers sometimes have concerns before switching to electric, but most of these concerns quickly fade.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>EV education is working. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even before buying an EV, concerns from past surveys weren&#8217;t as prevalent.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The report includes deep dives into the data, plus messages, policies, and programs to prioritize.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/pluginamerica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/2025-EV-Driver-Annual-Survey-Report-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download the full report<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>State reports<\/h2>\n<p>We received enough responses from drivers in <strong>California, New York, Texas, and Washington<\/strong> to complete state reports.
