To have a little February fun, we asked you<\/a> to channel your creativity and create valentines for your cars, and the responses from across the country warmed our hearts and made us chuckle.<\/p>\n

Some of you mentioned how fun the driving experience is\u2013with EVs being both fast and quiet\u2013while others called out the inexpensive cost to power and maintain the cars.<\/p>\n

Many of you also mentioned how EVs are greener because they don’t pollute with tailpipe emissions. (Side note: There are lots of studies, from the EPA<\/a> and Dept. of Energy<\/a> to Yale<\/a> and MIT<\/a>, that EVs are better for the environment from cradle to grave.)<\/p>\n

Eliminating vehicle emissions results in improved air quality, which means better health outcomes and a slowing of climate change. We\u2019re pushing for strong clean car standards because they put us on a path to a zero-emission future\u2013one that\u2019s better for all of us.<\/p>\n

Here are some of our staff\u2019s favorite valentines, including one from Percy, our team\u2019s new favorite pup.<\/p>\n

A poem from Eric who lives in New Jersey:<\/p>\n

Roses are red,
\nViolets are blue,
\nI love my EV,
\nAnd so would you.<\/p>\n

The fuel is cheap,
\nThe maintenance low,
\nNo emissions,
\nIt\u2019s fast, not slow.<\/p>\n

\nDon\u2019t wait anymore,
\nYou\u2019ll thank me later!<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are no emissions, it’s a better driving experience, and there’s less maintenance…a no-brainer,\u201d Eric also wrote.<\/p>\n
